You definitely need to check out Garden Of The Gods in Illinois! You will bee transported to a completely different world. Full of rolling hills, rock formations, and scenic views. This location is also perfect if you’re not looking for a big hike either.
GETTING THERE
The address is Garden of the Gods, Herod, IL 62947. You should drive up as far as you can, which isn’t a terrible amount. You can park right at the beginning of the trail head. There are also bathrooms located at the start of the trail as well! It is no more than a 10 minute walk on a cleared path up to the top. From there you can continue the loop to find the perfect spot for your ceremony!
